Depuis quelques jours déjà, la plateforme YouTube a lancé un service gratuit de visionnement de films et de documentaires intégraux et en version originale, la grande majorité en version anglaise ou espagnole. Divers partenariats avec les studios de cinéma MGM, Lionsgate et Sony Pictures ont permis à YouTube d'offrir ce nouveau service de divertissement gratuitement.

Ainsi, plusieurs films et longs métrages sont dès maintenant disponibles à travers 16 catégories différentes, tels que de types horreur, drame, en salle de cinéma, action & aventure, animation & dessins animés, Bollywood, classiques, famille, humour, policier, romantique, science-fiction, sport, suspense & énigmes, ainsi que près d'une centaine de documentaires et biographies.

« Nous espérons que les cinéphiles apprécieront la variété des titres de cette vidéothèque gratuite, allant des films récents populaires à rattraper en passant par les importantes archives des décennies passées », dit Donagh O'Malley, responsable des partenariats chez YouTube.

En supplément, vous trouverez au bas de cet article la liste complète des 575 films pour l'ensemble des catégories, et plus particulièrement des 95 titres de documentaire actuellement disponibles par le biais de ce nouvel outil au moment d'écrire ces lignes. Notez que les différents titres sont présentés uniquement en version originale anglaise ou espagnole pour certains.
